Clonkeen College hopes to begin shortly a major development project costing in the region of €10m which will make Clonkeen College a centre of educational excellence.

The inception of this project is delayed due to cutbacks in government spending on education. The project comprises a large extension, a superb new gymnasium, the upgrading of the school sports grounds to include all-weather facilities and the refurbishment of the existing building.
